Great lakes promised to send check within 21 days, that was back in oct. 2018. they do not reply to customers complains in timely manner! i purchased great lakes flooring from ***** in ***** oh.. " i really do not know where to begin. i bought 800 sq ft of this wood floor to have installed by 2 "professional" installers. they guys are both contractors who have done over 200 wood floors.. A: great lakes wood floors follows national wood flooring association (nwfa) guidelines when installing over radiant heat, which allows installation of 1/2-inch or more of engineered oak hardwood flooring. nwfa also recommends solid riffed and quartered oak to be installed over radiant heat..
